University of Michigan

Hi! I’m a physicist at the University of Michigan, in the Pioneer Fellows program. From Oct 2026 I will be a Walter Grant Scott research fellow at Trinity Hall college (U. Cambridge). I also did my PhD in Cambridge, apart from a year-long stint as a research associate at NTU (Singapore). My work is focused on mechanics, and especially elastic solids. I typically use a blend of analytical and computational methods. I’m interested in most areas of physics and mechanics, but especially soft matter, metamaterials, shells, and vibrations. I love it when geometry plays a key role. My publications can be found here on this site, or on my google scholar page, or via my ORCiD ORCID logo. My full CV is here.
